Heart Lake Conservation Area Open for the season

heart lake conservation trailThis weekend is the official seasonal opening of Heart Lake Conservation Area!

Located just off of the 410 Highway in Heart Lake, Brampton, Ontario – north of the Sandlewood and Heart Lake road intersection exit (10818 Heart Lake Rd Brampton, ON), this conservation area offers over 6 km’s of scenic nature trails, rainbow trout fishing (hundreds are stocked each year), boat and canoe rentals, and 14 private picnic sites with barbecue facilities. And of course, everyones favorite splash pad (which is maybe slightly chilly this time of the year) is a hit with families of all ages on hot summer days.

Splash Pad Season has started at the Conservation Area

heart-lake-conservation-splash-parkThe end of the school season brings the start of summer adventures. Heart Lake has an endless supply of excitement!

Hidden deep inside the leafy green landscape of Heart Lake Conservation lies our very own majestical splash park. Completed a few years ago, the heart lake splash pad, otherwise known as “Wild Wetland” is located at 10818 Heart Lake Rd, just north of Sandalwood, in Brampton, provides a great deal of adventure for kids of all ages. Wild Wetland Splash and Pool is open daily from June 21 to September  1st from 10am to 7pm. Weather permitting of course.

Splash park features:

  • 840 sq metre heated swimming pool (8 ft. deep)
  • Clean and safe water fun for kids all ages
